Women Dentists Worldwide (WDW) Section – FDI World Dental Congress 2026

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Women Dentists Worldwide (WDW) Section of the FDI World Dental Federation, I am delighted to invite you to join us for our annual scientific and networking programme during the FDI World Dental Congress 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Theme

From Innovation to Independence: Building a Modern, Safe, and Successful Dental Practice”

The WDW programme will bring together distinguished speakers, emerging leaders, and dental professionals from around the world to explore innovation, leadership, professional growth, and the future of women in dentistry.

The morning programme will include:

• Inspiring scientific lectures by internationally recognised experts;(9:00-11:00)
• Discussions on innovation, education, leadership, and professional development;
• Networking opportunities with colleagues from across the global dental community.

The programme will be followed by the Women Dentists Worldwide Annual Business meeting,(11:00-12:00) where participants will:

• Learn from an expert during a session dedicated to the importance of healthy breathing and its relevance to oral and general health; (11:00-11:30)
• receive updates on WDW activities and future initiatives;
• learn about ongoing international collaborations and scientific projects;
• participate in the supplementary election of two members of the WDW Board.

Whether you are an established leader, an early-career professional, a researcher, an academic, or a student, your participation is warmly welcomed. Together, we can strengthen the global network of women in dentistry, inspire future generations, and contribute to a more inclusive and diverse profession.
